Repairing a corrupt world
Repairing a corrupt world
If you have a Minecraft world that won't load properly or appears to be corrupted, here's what you can do:
1. Make a backup of your world folder.
2. Delete the "session.lock" file in the world folder.
3. Try using a tool like MCEdit or WorldEdit to repair the world. As these tools can identify and fix issues with your world.
4. If you have a backup of your world from before the corruption occurred, you may be able to restore that backup and use it as your new world.
If none of these steps work, you may need to start a new world.
